David Has been working as master craftsman for about 8 years with a well known Rustic Furniture Builder. When that company decided to go out of business for retirement purposes, in 2005, David decided to strike out on his own. We turned a garage into a shop for him and ordered all the tools he would need to do his creations. With The garage and tools in place we formed "Adirondack Rustic Creations".  Wooohooo  Its all very exciting!!!!  

   As We said before most of our materials were gathered on our property or other pieces of family property. During the winter months you can find us walking the woods looking for stumps or twigs that would make our wood creations unique. David has the ability to look at a twig or a stump and see a wonderful piece of furniture. After getting the imagine in mind David then applies his talents as a master craftsman and picks out the right hand made top or stump to finish the piece. All the pieces David makes are made strong and sturdy to stand up to everyday life. All pieces are made different and are usually one of a kind. Due to the differences in wood, twigs and stumps not all pieces are the same. Also all Of the tops are hand glued and finished with Davids own mixtures.

   Currently David has pieces in The Lake Placid Lodge and The WhiteFace Lodge in Lake placid. He also has Pieces on display in Keene Valley NY at Bald Mountain Rustics. We are always open for you phone calls and inquiries. Also as you can see we are still in the "learning" stages of our business and our pictures are not the best but as we have more of them we will certainly post them.
